Years ago, I believe it was the summer of 2000, my husband had just left for a 6 month deployment and we had just moved into our new housing unit, so I was not yet familiar with the landscaping of our yard. Our driveway was at a slight slant with a tree right at the end of the driveway and surrounding the base of the tree was a lot of dirt and gravel. Well, as I was doing my rows mowing, I had finally approached the tree and as I went to pivot the mower to go back the other way, I slipped on the dirt.  It was like a cartoon character slipping on a banana because my feet went straight up in the air and I slammed straight down right on my ass, HARD, with legs up in the air. lol

I instantly went into shock not realizing what I had done at the time. All I was concerned about is if someone saw me. lol I looked around, and to my relief I saw no one outside, so I continued to attempt to mow the lawn. I could only go a few more steps because I could feel my ass started swelling really, really bad. LAWL  I figured it would pass if I took a break, so I sat down and pain shot straight up my back and I screamed. My daughter came out and asked what was wrong, said that I looked like I saw a ghost and she had my neighbor take me to the E.R. 

Sure enough I broke my tailbone, which is now and forever will be in the shape of a 'z'.   :icon_eh2:  At the time it wasn't funny, but looking back I can laugh because I know it was definitely a sight to see and I'm sure anyone who saw it probably would have laughed their ass off...no pun intended.

I've had other injuries and slip ups, but this one is visually the best had anyone seen it.

In my case they said they could be did not recommend it considering the area, the risk of infection afterward is extremely high, so I said no of course. I'll forever be in pain from it though, but that's fine. I just adjust the way I sit all the time. lol

I'm goddamn shattered.  I got three hours of sleep last night and I just came back from the pool where I had the best work out I've had in a while, 50 lengths with 30 of them non  stop.  Not bad for my first proper swim in about 10 years.  :laugh:
